Privacy policy
Last updated: 17 August 2026
1. Who we are
This policy is issued by EcoFlux Ltd ("EcoFlux", "we", "us"), a private company limited by shares registered in Scotland under company number SC869335, with its registered office at 272 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4JR, Scotland.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, EcoFlux Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about any privacy matter at navinderjit@ecofluxltd.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal data in connection with this website at ecofluxltd.com, and sets out the general principles we apply across the applications we publish.
Individual applications may process data specific to their function. Where that is the case, the application has its own privacy notice, made available in the app and on its store listing, which should be read together with this policy. Where the two differ, the application's own notice governs that application.
3. Personal data collected through this website
This website is a static, informational site. It does not host user accounts, does not include a sign-up or contact form, and does not run advertising or third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
Server logs
Like virtually all websites, pages are delivered by a hosting provider that records standard technical request information for security, reliability and abuse prevention. This may include your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and general browser and device information. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine it with other data to build a profile of you.
Cookies
We do not set advertising, analytics or tracking cookies through this website. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies required to deliver and secure the site.
4. If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to and manage your enquiry, and to keep a record of correspondence where we have a legitimate or legal reason to do so.
5. Personal data in our applications
The applications we publish differ in what they need. The principles below apply to all of them:
- We collect only the data a feature genuinely requires to work.
- We state in the app what is collected and why, before it is collected where consent is required.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
- Where an app uses third-party services to deliver a feature, those providers act on our instructions or under their own published terms, and are identified in the app's privacy notice.
- Where an app offers accounts, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
6. Lawful bases for processing
We rely on the following lawful bases under the UK GDPR:
- Legitimate interests — operating, securing and improving our website and products, and responding to enquiries, where this is not overridden by your rights.
- Contract — providing an application or service you have signed up for, including managing purchases and subscriptions.
- Consent — where we ask for it, for example for optional features or communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain records to comply with the law.
7. Service providers
We use third-party providers to host this website and to operate our applications, including hosting, database, storage, authentication, payment processing, crash and error reporting, and — in some products — machine-learning providers. These providers process data on our behalf under contract, or as independent controllers where their own terms apply. We choose providers that offer appropriate safeguards.
8. International transfers
Some of our providers operate outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on an adequacy decision or on appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, as required by UK data protection law.
9. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as the law requires. Email correspondence is generally retained while it remains relevant to an ongoing or foreseeable matter. Application data is retained in line with the relevant app's privacy notice, and deleted on request where no legal obligation requires us to keep it.
10. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to request access to your personal data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have data erased in certain circumstances; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email navinderjit@ecofluxltd.com, stating which product your request relates to. We will respond within one month, and will tell you if we need longer because the request is complex. We do not charge a fee for a reasonable request.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
11. Children
Our website is not directed at children. Where an application is intended for, or may be used by, younger users, any additional protections and age requirements are stated in that application's own privacy notice and store listing.
12. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls and separation of production environments. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to reduce risk and to respond promptly if a problem arises.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products develop or as the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be communicated through the relevant product where practicable.
